Un viaje de agradecimiento y resistencia.
Este año 2021 se cumplen 20 años del estreno mundial, en una sala de cine y en celuloide, de 'Fuente Álamo, la caricia del tiempo', la opera prima de Pablo García Pérez de Lara... en concreto en la sección Tiempo de Historia de la 46ª Seminci, 2001.
Con motivo de esta celebración, Camino Incierto, en su diálogo constante con un tipo de cine y también con aquella opera prima, se presenta este año en la sección Doc España (fuera de concurso) de la 66ª Edición de la Seminci
Desde aquí, nuestro mas sincero agradecimiento a Fabricio Caivano y Fernando Lara por apostar por nosotros en aquel octubre de 2001. Ha pasado el tiempo y aquí seguimos, amando el cine y recordando los lugares y las personas que nos enriquecen en el camino.

Y gracias a todo el equipo de la 66ª Seminci por pensar en Camino Incierto y por darle continuidad a esta historia de lo cotidiano.
Camino incierto -nos lo recordó recientemente Sabrina, una joven que forma parte del grupo #JovesProgramadors de Moving Cinema- es una película de resistencia. Una película sobre la necesidad de resistir para seguir haciendo el oficio que más nos gusta. En ese sentido, no hay mejor marco para estrenar en Barcelona que un festival como el de L'Alternativa Pues se trata de un festival en el que nacimos con nuestra opera prima 'Fuente Álamo, la caricia del tiempo', y que desde su origen resiste desde hace 27 años con su mirada arriesgada, crítica, innovadora, profunda, libre, fresca y diversa y que nos invita a pensar que más allá de Netflix, Amazon Prime, Movistar, Vodafone... existen otros lugares y otras temáticas, para nosotros más ricas y profundos, quizás más rigurosas y críticas, también posiblemente más genuinas que merecen salir a la luz porque en éstas nos vamos a encontrar un refugio y, también, un camino para que el mundo sea más agradable y habitable.

Official presentation and world premiere in Abycine 2020
There are many places where a film can be premiered. Abycine isn’t just any place for us. It is a gaze that has accompanied us since “Alicia Retratada”, our first short film, which was awarded a Special Jury Mention in the 2003 edition. But it is also a festival that belongs to a land, Albacete, where Pablo’s first feature film, “Fuente Álamo, la caricia del tiempo”, was born; a film which, in fact, is part of thisUncertain Journey. Abycine brings together and promotes two aspects which are essential to our cinema, filmmakers and industry. Personal gazes, fresh gazes, critical gazes which are projected not only in front of the audience, but also to a big part of our industry network. A festival that ensures the existence of a world of cinematographic creation which is capable of attracting the audience and operating beyond the established canons.

We have participated in FIDBA 2020 in its area of ​​industry.
For little more than a week we crossed the pond (online) to listen and debate about cinema and about filmmakers who watch and listen to life; above all, from the deepest and most personal, which on many occasions is linked with a lot of effort and with certain difficulties, also with joys ... The FIDBA is something tangible and real, in which you notice that there are many people creating and where they give appointment infinite glances. A space in which they take care of and know what they show and that tries to change the course of certain entrenched things. A place that works so that other more genuine, sincere, visceral, diverse, critical and rigorous winds blow.

Online Industry Projection of Uncertain Journey’s WIP at the Málaga MAFIZ.
Shortly before the Covid-19 and the lockdown that all of us lived, we had been notified that Uncertain Journeyhad been chosen for the Málaga MAFIZ 2020. For Doble Banda, this was a moment of great joy and pride for the recognition of the work made during more than five years. The event was held online, but naturally, everything that came afterwards changed our gaze and perception of what is truly important. In any case, and precisely because of what is happening, we like the idea of continuing to push forward a cinema that transmits the beauty and the goodness in the human being.
